Humanity once reached for the stars… and found refuge underground.
After the collapse of Earth, the last survivors came to Mars — not to conquer, but to endure.
Vast subterranean caverns became humanity’s final refuge. Atmospheric Processors, Grav Wells, and bio-engineered light turned lifeless stone into a fragile Eden.
For a time, it worked.
Then Earth went silent. And Mars was on its own.
Centuries later, civilization survives in the shadow of Nova Sanguis — a gleaming utopia carved into a colossal cavern, where the elite rule from crystal towers and the unwanted are cast into the wastes. Outside the city’s glow, the world decays. Caverns crumble. Light flickers. Mutated beasts stalk the dark.
Strike teams were formed to fight back.
Some are funded by the powerful. Praised. Celebrated.
Others… are left to die.
Red Depths follows one such team — underfunded and unmatched — as they descend into the forgotten places of Mars, where ancient things stir, and the real war begins.
